Manipur Governor reviews progress of Indo-Myanmar border fencing works
Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla reviewed the work with BRO officials briefing him on progress, challenges, and security concerns

Imphal, Nov 19: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla today reviewed the ongoing fencing works along -the Indo-Myanmar border.
In a meeting held at the Raj Bhavan, the Governor took stock of the overall progress of the construction works.
Senior Border Road Organisation (BRO) officers, including the Additional Director General, Border Roads (East) and the Commandant of 25 Border Road Task Force, briefed the Governor on the progress of the fencing works and key operational issues.
They also flagged concerns related to security and communication and put forward recommendations to ensure faster execution of the remaining works.
The Governor assured that necessary support would be extended by the Government to address the concerns raised by the BRO.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, DGP, and senior government and Assam Rifles officials.
