Cardiac care at a new era: Medanta showcases future of advanced heart treatment
Guwahati, January 28: Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a major and growing public health concern in Assam and have emerged as one of the leading causes of death in adults above the age of 40 years. Further, studies have indicated that people living in urban areas, including hilly regions, are increasingly vulnerable to CVDs, often well before they turn 40.

The initiatives come months after Medanta conducted a Bhoomi Poojan ceremony in Guwahati to mark the commencement of construction of its upcoming 400-plus-bed super-specialty hospital.
