Tom Cruise to resume shooting M:I7 in the UK

Actor Tom Cruise will resume shooting for Mission: Impossible 7 in the UK. The seventh instalment in the popular spy action film franchise will now shift production to Surrey in Southeast England which falls within Tier 4 (the highest level of restrictions).

Mission: Impossible 7 was one of the first film projects to be adversely affected by the pandemic. In February, filming on the latest instalment had to be stopped in Italy due to the disease outbreak in the country. M:I7 is scheduled to release on November 19.

Michael B Jordan to direct Creed III

Actress Tessa Thompson has confirmed that Michael B Jordan will make his directorial debut with Creed III. Jordan and Tessa Thompson co-starred in the first two installments of the boxing franchise. “We’re gonna make another Creed very soon,” Thomson said. Creed amassed $173.6 million at the box office on release in 2015, while Creed II earned $214.1 million.

Tuck Tucker passes away

Veteran animator Tuck Tucker, who worked on many popular series such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Hey Arnold!, passed away, aged 59. Tucker was born William Osborne Tucker III on August 20, 1961. He worked on the 1987 film Pinocchioand Emperor of the Night before boarding on some of the most iconic titles in animation, including the 1989 Disney feature The Little Mermaid. In the TV space, he worked on Nickelodeon’s Rugrats as well as The Simpsons.  — Agencies
