Guwahati, Oct 25: The Inland Water Transport on Tuesday announced that Guwahati based ferry services have been suspended for October 25.
The announcement was made due to lack of draft to ply the vessels from the existing ghat points at South Bank and also to construct an approach road and jetty.
Ferries will resume tomorrow.
